Photography BA (Hons)

The Chester University Photography BA (Hons) is designed to give you the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge as a creative artist, while providing you with a thorough grounding in the history and theory of the medium. You will study the history of photography, from the invention of the medium through to its use in the 21st century. The course will cover subjects like Photography Techniques, Photography Techniques II, Advanced Photography, Introduction to Digital Imaging, Lighting, Advanced Lighting, Composition, Professional Photography, Contemporary Art, and Digital Imaging, all of which are taught using the latest techniques and equipment. The course will also include a final project, which is undertaken in conjunction with a photographer from the Chester University of Wales Photography Club.
