English Literature and Sociology

The Department of English and The Department of Sociology at Chester College offer a wide range of undergraduate courses in the English and Sociology degree programs taught in English. The English Literature and Sociology degrees build on the previous English Literature and Sociology degrees and are aimed at mature students who wish to develop their knowledge of both literary and cultural aspects of English and sociological theories and methods. You will study courses in language, literature, culture, the study of social life, the history of the English language, critical thinking, and professional skills.
