The University of Bradford offers a Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation degree. Forensic archaeology is the use of excavation and other techniques to identify, date and/or locate human remains or other evidence such as firearms, jewellery, tools and personal items in order to assist the police or other authorities. (It is sometimes known as Forensic Anthropology, but this field also includes the study of human skeletal remains in their own right.)
