Fine Art (with Integrated Foundation Year) (Farnham)

This course is a study of all the art forms, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, photography, performance, sound, dance, craft, film and web. The course is based around a broad arts and culture foundation year before focusing on the chosen art form. It offers students the chance to have a wider and deeper experience of each art form while gaining knowledge of a range of professional practice from all the artforms and all the disciplines within the arts. The course will teach you how to identify and understand the different artworks, while also improving your skills in critical, creative and technical examination. It challenges your understanding of the medium, through its practical, hands-on, studio based activities and critical evaluation of artworks.
