Sociology and Global Change

Sociology and Global Change (SGC) at the University of Edinburgh is a research-led program providing a rigorous, interdisciplinary education to students who wish to go on to careers in the social sciences. You will develop a critical understanding of the problems facing societies today, a thorough knowledge of social science approaches and methods, and the ability to design and conduct research in one or more of the specialisms of the program.
