Scandinavia, the name given to parts of northern Europe, is a cultural and linguistic entity that spans from the North Cape of Norway to the Urals in Russia. Its people have a diverse range of customs and cultures, which makes this an interesting and fascinating area to study. Scandinavian Studies also provides a very interesting and unique introduction into English Literature, since it looks at the many different cultures and societies.
