Medical Law and Ethics

The University of Edinburgh has a long and distinguished history of research and teaching within the field of medical law and ethics. The award of degree-awarding powers for the medical law and ethics degree in 2008, was the result of a major restructuring of the university's degree programs. The medical law and ethics degree is recognised internationally as one of the leading academic areas, and is a top medical law and ethics program in the UK to be accredited by the Royal Institution of Medical Undergraduates and the Institute of Law and Medicine.
