History of Art and History of Music

History of Art concentrates in the first year on the development of art in the ancient world, concentrating on Greece and Rome. The second year of the BA (Hons) History of Art concentrates on Modern and Contemporary art, and includes a period of study abroad. The third year of the BA (Hons) History of Art concentrates on the history of Modern and Contemporary art, particularly British art. The history and theory of music is included in the BA (Hons) History of Music. This degree also includes a period of study abroad.
