Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare

The School of Biological and Applied Zoology (BASZ) is a world-renowned centre of excellence in animal behaviour and welfare research. The School is one of the few in the UK to offer an independent degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare. This unique degree aims to develop a range of knowledge and practical skills for anyone wishing to apply their interest in animal handling and welfare to a range of different contexts including animal husbandry and veterinary practice, zoo management and animal welfare.
