Sociology (with Foundation Year) - BSc (Hons)

The Sociology Department at Teesside University was established in 1970 and is one of the few in the UK to offer a Bachelor of Social Science degree. It is also the largest of its kind in the North East and offers a unique focus on social policy, social anthropology and social psychology. The Bachelor of Social Science degree equips graduates with a broad base of knowledge in sociology and provides the opportunity to develop their skills towards a career in the field.
