The Department of Food Technology offers a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology (with a Foundation Year). The degree is designed to enable students to develop knowledge and understanding of food and its production from the natural environment with the aim of developing an informed understanding of the food industry and its social and environmental impacts. The program is for students wishing to progress on to an advanced degree and/or students who wish to pursue a career.
