Power Engineering and Sustainable Energy

The Power Engineering unit combines the academic strengths of the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, with the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the School of Engineering, Swansea University. The unit offers a three year MEng course in Power Engineering, which leads into a PhD degree or a Graduate Diploma in Power Engineering. The unit also offers a two year BEng course and undergraduate programs in electrical and mechanical engineering. The unit has a strong focus on renewable energy, including wind, solar and wave, as well as the development of power from fossil fuels.
