Ancient History with Philosophy - BA (Hons)

The course will provide you with an overview of the development of the field of ancient history from its classical origins in the early fifth century BC to the period of the Roman Empire. It will introduce some of the major themes in the period of classical antiquity, the relationship between ancient and modern views on the nature of history, ancient historiography and archaeology, and the nature of the evidence.
