The Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen offers a one-year MSc in Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Law, providing students with an in-depth understanding of the legal, policy and regulatory frameworks governing the oil, gas and renewables sectors. This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this rapidly evolving field. The course will cover a range of topics such as energy law, international energy law, renewable energy law, oil and gas contracts, environmental law and energy regulation. The program also includes an internship, which provides students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the industry. With this program, graduates will be well-prepared to pursue professional roles in the oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.
Applicants will normally hold a a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline.
Applicants with relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
