Program Description
The Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen's one-year Information Technology MSc program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the ever-evolving world of information technology. Through a combination of lectures, tutorials, and hands-on practical experience, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of IT, including programming languages, databases, networks, security, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their professional skills through a range of industry-led projects. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a successful career in the field of information technology.
Admission Requirements
Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any NON-Computing discipline.
Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.0 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
