The Energy Transitions and Sustainability MSc at Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen provides a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to understanding the complexities of global energy transitions and sustainability. Through this one-year program, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the technical, economic, social, and environmental aspects of energy transitions and sustainability. You will develop an appreciation of the challenges associated with transitioning to a low-carbon economy and be equipped with the skills to help shape the future of energy systems. You will have the opportunity to learn from world-leading academics in the fields of energy transitions and sustainability and gain hands-on experience through engaging with industry experts, field trips, real-world case studies, and research projects. By the end of the program, you will be well placed to pursue a career in energy transition and sustainability or pursue further research in this area.
Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent in any subject discipline.
Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or an equivalent.
