The Advancing Practice MSc at Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen provides a unique opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an advanced practitioner in your chosen field. This two-year program is designed to equip you with the skills and qualifications required to excel in a variety of healthcare, education, or social care settings. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of advanced practice roles and their application in the real world, while developing your professional knowledge and skills. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities, including clinical placements, research projects, and academic seminars. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be well-equipped to pursue a career as an advanced practitioner in your chosen field.
The minimum entry requirement for this programme will normally be an honours degree or its equivalent. In addition, because of the work based nature of the programme, all students must be working in clinical practice or sponsored by a Health Board and have access to a practice assessor/practice supervisor.
Nursing route – applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
