The Advanced Architectural Design MSc at Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen offers an intense and comprehensive 1-year program, providing students with the knowledge and skills to become successful professionals in the field of architecture. This program is designed to equip students with the latest theories and techniques in architecture, enabling them to develop innovative designs that meet the needs of modern society. Through a combination of lectures, seminars, and workshops, students will explore topics such as urban design, sustainable building materials, and digital fabrication. Applicants normally hold a 2:2 undergraduate honours degree or its equivalent, in one of the following subject areas: Architecture, Architectural Design, Architectural Technology, Design Management, Sustainable Building Design, Urban Design / Planning.
Applicants with a lower degree classification and / or relevant work experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
