Newcastle University's Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Social Work (S3W) is one of the world's leading centres for research in areas pertaining to social justice, inequality and poverty. The program focuses on developing skills and abilities in the following areas: qualitative and quantitative social research, quantitative methods, social policy analysis, policy analysis, urban studies and social welfare.
