European History

An MA in European History teaches you to think in and about the history of the European continent, and the role it has played in the modern world. Your research will focus on a particular geographical area (such as the Mediterranean, the Balkans, or the Danube Delta) which you may choose to interpret in a variety of ways. You will examine the history of its people, their place in the wider world, and the ways in which it has shaped the present.
