Epidemiology

Epidemiology is a scientific discipline that investigates the distribution and determinants of health and disease in a population. The Newcastle Epidemiology course, is a top course of its kind, and in addition to developing the core competencies in epidemiology, it provides the opportunity for specialist and advanced study in the fields of public health, environmental epidemiology, mental health and chronic disease, environmental epidemiology and cancer and ageing research.
