Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and French

The Manchester Metropolitan University was the first of the major metropolitan universities of the UK to offer a teacher training course with the aim of preparing people to teach TEFL and other foreign languages.
The TEFL and Bilingual Studies degree is recognised by the UK Council of International Schools and can lead to a career in international schools, language teaching or the development of the bilingual sector in countries such as Spain, France, Germany, and Japan.
