Linguistics and English with Foundation Year

Linguistics and English with Foundation Year is a one-year Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Linguistics and English for students who have not studied a degree-level program in linguistics or English. The PGDip in Linguistics and English for postgraduate students is delivered by the Department of Linguistics, the Department of English and the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Manchester. The PGDip provides an opportunity to improve professional skills and an understanding of the language and literature in English or in linguistics.
