English and American Literature

Manchester Metropolitan University's English and American Literature degree program will teach you how to read, write, and understand the literature of the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This is an excellent introduction to the study of English-American literature because it allows you to examine classic works of English-American literature, including works by authors such as William Shakespeare, William Faulkner, and Edgar Allan Poe, as well as the most influential writers of the United States - such as Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Emily Dickinson, and George Washington Carver.
