Financial Mathematics (with placement year)

Financial mathematics is the study of investment, accounting, and financial decision-making. The aim of the course is to develop the student's competence in financial mathematics, to provide a working knowledge of the major methods, and to enhance the ability to apply financial mathematics to a variety of problems in financial decision-making. In addition, the program provides the student with a sound grounding in the wider issues of financial accounting and regulation.
