English Literature (with placement year)

The English Department at Loughborough University offers, with its MA English and Creative Writing, a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature (with a year of study abroad), and a highly successful MA Creative Writing degree. The BA (Hons) and MA degrees are for students who want to take their English studies further: for example, to pursue a career in teaching or as a writer. The MA degree is recognised by the Higher Education Academy as equivalent to a PhD with an MA.
