Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry provides facilities for advanced study in chemistry with first degree, and postgraduate research in chemical engineering and biomedical science. Students in the Department of Chemistry take part in a range of activities to develop the skills and knowledge required for professional careers in science and technology, and as part of this the Department is one of the largest employers of postgraduate research students.
