Philosophy & Ethics and Sport & Physical Education (with Foundation Year)

The Liverpool Hope University Philosophy and Ethics Department will give you an opportunity to study the philosophical underpinnings of your chosen subject. This will help you to understand the context in which you are teaching, whether you are a student in a school, college, university or university extension. It will equip you with the philosophical framework you need to critically analyse the literature and ideas in your subject. A philosophy degree offers you the opportunity to investigate a range of topics; from ethics, metaphysics, aesthetics, epistemology and logic to the nature of mind, law, politics and society.
