History and Theology (with Foundation Year)

The Liverpool Hope University History and Theology (with a Foundation Year) course aims to develop students' ability to research the intellectual history of the church. The study encompasses both theological interpretation and methodological understanding, whilst also developing students’ ability to engage with the historical evidence. Students will also develop their critical and creative writing skills in an attempt to develop their own interpretation of the Church in the 20th century.
