Film & Visual Culture and History

The Liverpool Hope University Department of Film and Television and Department of Heritage and Art History, offers a major for students to study the history and culture of film as well as the history of the cinema. The course offers students a thorough grounding in the art and history of film, covering everything from early cinema to the present day. Students not only develop an understanding of the art of film, but also learn to write creatively about film and the history of cinema.
