Philosophy and Politics

The Department of Philosophy and Politics at Lancaster University is a department specialising in the study of political philosophy, political theory, ethics, and the theory of the state. The department has over forty academics, who are all committed to engaging with a broad range of subjects that contribute to the development of our understanding of the political. At Lancaster we offer undergraduate courses that are taught through the philosophy and politics degree, and the politics and ethics degree, which are taught via the politics and ethics degree with the philosophy and politics degree.
