Linguistics (Placement Year)

Lancaster University places a strong emphasis on the teaching and learning of language. The department places a strong focus on the teaching of the skills needed for language based studies. The programme can lead on to a wide range of careers, including work with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, language teaching in schools and universities, or in the media and the arts.
