Psychotherapy and Counselling – Contemporary Creative Approaches MSc

Looking to explore the benefits of contemporary creative and verbal approaches to psychotherapy? Our practical training program offers a comprehensive approach suitable for both new and advanced practitioners. You'll learn how to use drawing, painting, guided imagery, movement, drama, writing, poetry and sculpture in your therapeutic practice.

This two-year psychotherapy and counselling Masters program is designed to integrate psychology, neuro-psychotherapy, neuroscience and biosciences to provide a scientifically informed approach to psychotherapy training. You'll also explore developmental psychology, humanistic and attachment theories, as well as abnormal and clinical psychology.

Throughout the program, you'll be supported to work at emotional depth with individuals experiencing psychological distress. You'll gain valuable practical experience working with children, young people and adults through a series of work placements and experiences. We also offer a financial contribution of up to £1,200 towards the cost of personal therapy and clinical supervision.
