Primary Early Years Education with QTS PGCE

Upon successfully completing this programme, you will be recommended for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which is essential for early years teaching. This degree programme provides the necessary skills and knowledge required to teach children aged 3-7 in primary schools, nurseries and children’s centres. You will receive comprehensive training in covering the early years foundation stage and key stage one, as well as practical experience in schools to help primary age children thrive.

The course is available at both our Ormskirk campus and Holy Cross College & University Centre in Bury. Upon graduation, you will have gained the confidence and competence to take up your first teaching role, with a thorough understanding of the latest teaching strategies and techniques for engaging young children.
