This combined honours degree offers a fascinating intersection of English literature and modern history. You could explore medieval times and their impact on contemporary society, or study how history is portrayed on screen by analyzing British, American, and German cinema's representations of pre-war history.
In literature, you'll go beyond the page and investigate the broader influence of literature, from the Bible to contemporary works. You'll also have the opportunity to critically analyze textual representations of sexuality.
