The drama degree offers you a chance to explore the significance of popular entertainment and engage in artistic discussions. At the heart of our drama course lies live performance. We aim to nurture your artistic skills and perspectives by providing you with access to our Arts Centre's theaters and studios. Collaborate with professional directors and companies, participate in workshops, and try new techniques in acting, improvisation, rehearsal, and performance on stage.
You'll also get to explore the process of creating socially-engaged theater and performance for different audiences and communities. By analyzing plays from different cultures and times, you'll investigate the history, evolution, and relevance of drama. You'll examine the work of significant ensembles in traditional and contemporary theater, leading to the creation of dynamic group productions.
Additionally, you'll have opportunities to stretch your limits by joining staff- and student-led drama groups. At every step, our team of experienced actors, playwrights, directors, and theater technicians will offer support and guidance. We'll help you connect theory with practice so that you can graduate as a practitioner with a profound understanding of your profession and hands-on experience in live performance.
