At the core of our MA Collaborative Performance Practice is the art of ensemble-making. Whether you're a performer, director, choreographer, scenic designer, or digital scenographer, our program aims to develop the skills and knowledge of diverse creative talents. Our approach is grounded in the belief that sharing different perspectives can unlock the potential for exciting performances.
You'll draw on the range of experiences and skills of your collaborators as you create innovative and collaborative works. Whether you're a small-scale practitioner or recent performing arts graduate seeking to build your specialist skills, this program will help you develop your ability to devise, design, choreograph and perform as part of a vibrant creative community.
You'll explore how to respond to the changing environments of the creative industries, the impact of new technology, and the digital arts. As an emerging practitioner, you'll develop an adaptable, collaborative business model while gaining expertise in performance research, making valuable connections across the creative industries, and gaining comprehensive insights into the relationships between the creative process and the production of a performance that is ready for an audience.
