Our biotechnology program delves into the creation of synthetic human insulin and the development of genetically modified foods, drawing on the fields of genetics and microbiology, as well as their associated laboratory techniques.

To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the sector, our program includes visits to biotechnology firms and extensive practical sessions. Moreover, students will have access to cutting-edge resources, such as our scanning electron microscope, DNA extraction and purification facilities, and microbiology suite.
