Software Engineering

Software engineering is the study of how to design computer programs. It's a highly creative and challenging area of study in which you'll be required to think about what it means to design software, how to analyse what software should do, and how to write software. Software engineering is an inter-disciplinary area of study in which you'll use the skills taught in the computer science (CS) and software engineering (SE) programs to combine these with other relevant areas such as mathematics, statistics, and linguistics. Software engineering is a very exciting area, with many challenges and opportunities, and so we recommend that you study for an undergraduate degree here to get the best possible start.
