Social Work

Cardiff University Social Work courses offer a wide ranging, dynamic program of study. On completion of the Social Work degree, you will have developed a thorough understanding of the issues and needs of children, families and young people, the adults who work in the social care sector, and the children who are part of this group. You will also have gained the knowledge, skills and resources to make a significant contribution to the social care sector. Social work provides a broad overview of human development and society. It is concerned with how children and adults develop, the impact on their families, and the relationship between the individual and their social environment.
