Economics with a Professional Placement Year

The Cardiff University Professional Placement year is a year of work experience, usually in industry, with a firm of financial consultants, to give students a taste of the business world. This is a year of supervised work experience in the financial services industry. The course involves a year of work experience, based on your course in Economics, and during that year you will be supervised by a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Wales. You will gain personal and professional experience and have the chance to make contacts in the business world. A full time placement year costs approximately £10,000 and is designed to meet a wide range of professional placement needs.
