Psychology and Sociology

The degree of Bachelor of Science Psychology and Sociology is offered at BGS (Bishop Grosseteste University). It is the smallest of the psychology degrees on offer in the UK and one of the smallest in Europe. It is a two year course, during which the student will acquire a working knowledge of cognitive, social, and physical sciences. There are also a number of joint degrees between the Psychology and Sociology departments, and the degree is also popular with students wanting to gain a more practical knowledge of psychology as well as the development of an academic and critical approach to the study of human behaviour.
