Music (with Foundation Year) BMus (Hons)

Music is a multi-disciplinary subject which offers students the opportunity to study music from a wide range of perspectives and approaches. It is a fast-moving discipline, constantly developing and challenging its boundaries with the latest methods, technology and critical perspectives, and its teaching and research profile continue to grow in importance both nationally and internationally. Our students study the subject in a variety of ways and the course provides you with an opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding that are essential for a wide range of future activities including performance, composition, conducting and pedagogy.
