Genomics and Precision Medicine

Bangor University is one of the UK's leading universities for research in genomics and the application of biotechnology to the development of new medicines. This course is designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the scientific background which underpins the field of genomics, including the molecular basis of genetic variation. You will develop the skills required to use the methods of high-throughput and next generation sequencing to analyse the genetic material within a sample or population. You will also develop a range of problem-solving skills and experience in the use of computational analysis tools to examine genomic data.
