Film & Screen Arts

This subject has its foundation in the Department of Film, Music and Media at the University of Plymouth. It provides a wide range of undergraduate opportunities within our Film & Screen Arts degree, including a BA (Hons) Media and Film degree. The subject allows you to explore filmmaking, screenwriting, cinema studies, digital media and media studies, including aspects of media analysis. As part of your degree you will be working on both fiction and non-fiction projects, as well as writing and developing your own script. Some of the subject areas you will be working with include: media design and animation, digital media and technologies, sound, film and film studies, journalism, media arts and creative writing. The subject is particularly suitable for those with a creative bent and with an interest in the media.
