Fashion Design

Awarding a Fashion Design degree, which is accredited by the Fashion Institute of Technology, gives you the opportunity to combine your knowledge of fashion and textile design with a thorough grounding in fashion history and theory. You will learn how to combine your conceptual ideas with the technical skills of pattern-making, colour and texture. The BA (Hons) Fashion Design degree gives you the opportunity to design and develop your own collections, as well as providing you with a thorough understanding of fashion history and theory. The BA (Hons) Fashion Design degree prepares you for work in the fashion industry, including fashion retail, fashion consultancy and the fashion press.
